18X Sport Performance

The lightest 18' sea kayak available! Epic has brought composite boat weights down to fiberglass prices. The fiberglass/carbon composite construction is meant to be loaded and paddled on the ocean. The Nomex construction is meant for racing in flatwater and ocean conditions. Amazingly fast and quite maneuverable. The "Sport" versions are 3/4" wider for additional stability. A breeze to load on and off your car. With integrated retractable Smarttrack rudder, bulkheaded bow, stern, and day hatches, improved seat design, lots of storage space, and full deck outfitting. Additional layups may be available by special order. For the medium-to-large paddler.
